Shanties were originally work songs from the era of the great sailing ships. Sailors sang them on merchant and fishing vessels to support and coordinate physically demanding tasks that could only be done through joint effort, such as heaving the anchor or setting the sails. Our reworked Schanty shirt is made from 100% sanforised cotton and was developed and produced in Hamburg. The shirt has a relaxed fit and a mandarin collar. The buttons are made of corozo. The fabric is brushed on the inside for extra comfort.
